When will the email migration take place ?
The Agent email migration scheduled for Thursday November 15, 2007. Agent email application will be shut down from 5.00 pm on the same day to 3.00 am next morning.


What do I need to do before migration on the 15 Nov 2007.
For existing TN agents, notify all your contacts that your current email address will be changed by 16 Nov 2007 to the new email address.


Example :
Abakara.agent@takafulnasional.com.my to abakara@agent.etiqa.com.my


Why we need to migrate to the new email address and domain?
Agent Email is one of the IT application project that requires changes to reflect to the new company name. All information and logo image in the application related to the company must follow the new company rebranding image. This is the main reason why we need to change and migrate the Agent email application to the new email address and domain.


What is the new URL for the new Agent Email application?
The new URL for the Agent email will be http://agentmail.etiqa.com.my


What is the new login ID and password should I use to login ?
The login id for existing TN agents will be maintained but without .agent. Password remains unchanged.Password for new user will be defaulted to e#agent.123, and you will need to immediately change upon first logon.


Does my new email look any different from old version?
Your email will function exactly the same as it does now, except for the look and feel plus with new company logo.


Are email addresses changing?
There are two groups of email addresses:
The first group is the existing (current TN Agents)
The second one will be the new group of email addresses (new MNI Agents, Phase 1-Agency Leaders, Unit Manager);
where existing agents will have the convention of
currentusername@agent.etiqa.com.my and ;new group will have the conventions of username.initialusername@agent.etiqa.com.my


When we migrate, will I lose any existing emails or data ?
We plan to move the contents of your Inbox and other folders that store email. Your existing email messages should be safe. There are steps to take to make this process as seamless as possible.


What will happen to emails sent to my address during the migration period?
Emails sent to your address during this period will be bounced. You are advised to notify the email address changes to all your contacts prior to
this activity.
